Rippingale Walks to Morton Post Office! - Wednesday 17 October 2007

On Wednesday 17th October some 100 Rippingale villagers walked from Rippingale Post Office to Morton Post Office to demonstrate how difficult it is to get to our nearest Post Office Branch.

There was exceptional media coverage and some great photos and write-ups in the local papers as well as on TV.

You would think that it would be easy to get a few photos together for the 'Past Events' gallery wouldn't you?!?!

Below is the view I had of the walk - from my Landi acting as 'Tail End Charley protecting Mr Plod and the walkers from the traffic behind.

If you can provide some shots (as jpegs, tiffs etc) please let me know and I will put a slide show together - otherwise this is as good as it gets (unless I can sell you a very boring video)!   JW
