Snowdrops and Hellebores - February 2005
2005 has sadly seen the last of the Snowdrops and Hellebore open gardens in Rippingale, at least for the foreseeable future.
The escalating cost of insurance was a major factor, and combined with the years taking their toll has convinced Roy to finally hang up his hat.
This year Roy has raised some £3635, giving a combined total with Manor Farm Keisby of more than £7000 to Macmillan Cancer Relief. Over the two days Roy saw 548 visitors, some making a special trip from as far as Southern Ireland, Scotland and Belgium.
In the past 10 years Roy and Kathleen raised over £22,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
