Friday 1st June - Mega-Ceilidh

The Jubilee Weekend kicks off with a MEGA-Ceilidh in Rippingale Village Hall, from 8:00 to 11:30pm, featuring the Elusive Black Dog Ceilidh Band. There will be a licensed bar and a barbecue running all evening (not included in ticket price) The sale of tickets will be strictly limited to 100, will cost £6.00 per person and will go on sale in March 2012, with advance orders being taken from January 2012. Tickets can be booked via Chris Petz on 440444 or . If feasible, we will try and make tickets available to residents in the first instance but we really advise that you book tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!  Click here for more information.

Saturday 2nd June - Jubilee Bingo night

 

 

 

Sunday 3rd June - Jubilee Picnic & Family Sports Day

The Jubilee Playing Field is the venue for our grand Family Picnic and Vintage Sports' Day. The 3rd June has now been nominated as the official 'Lunch with your Neighbour' day. This event will be self-financing and not limited to village residents.

Families and/or groups of friends are invited to plan their arrangements around themes such as the 1950's, Royalty or the Archers, for example. there will be prizes for the best ideas! The afternoon will incorporate sporting events, catering for all age groups, with an emphasis on Fun!

There will also be a 1950's mini-exhibition on the field with local artefacts, including agricultural machinery. If you have any suitable exhibits that you would be prepared to loan to the exhibition, we would love to hear from you. There will be space made available for Village organizations to advertise and promote themselves to residents. If your group would like to be included in this, please contact us.
